Faith isn’t just believing in what we can see; it’s trusting in the promises of God even when the road ahead looks more like a construction zone through a jungle than an actual pathway.
It's standing firm, with unshakable confidence and belief, in the truth that He is already working on our behalf.
But here's the beautiful thing about a faith journey with God:
He never intended for us to walk it alone.
He not only gives us the Holy Spirit to dwell within us, but He also blesses us with what I call 4 Corner Friends - those people who carry us on our mat to Jesus when we don't have the strength, or see the path ahead. And no, it doesn't mean you only have 4 friends! We are surrounded by people so we will have many friends when we live in community, however, there are are intimate heart levels that come with connecting hearts and alignment.
This is why it’s so important to seek Him first. Through seeking Him, we receive the strength, the provision, and the community we need to fan the flames of our faith.
It’s takes intentionality and trust.- to pray asking for friends in your heart corners and trust them with that space. If you are someone who has a history of anxiety or insecurity, this will feel so vulnerable and maybe even scary. That’s normal for your human heart. Prayer is always the first step, seeking His will, His plan, His purpose.
BUT GOD….it is in Him, we trust. The greater our trust, the greater our surrender to what He has for us. You don’t need a ton of friends. In fact, the closer to your heart the circle is, the fewer will bet those inner rooms.
We were created for community so letting people into your world is part of His plan for you, ultimately for His Kingdom growth.
He knows who you need, and whose corner you’ve been placed in, for every season.
Today, I’m thanking God for the gift of faith, the gift of His Spirit, and the gift of true friends in every room opened by Him.
