Sharing our Story when we traded Boots for Flip Flops
Our journey began with a calling from God to move from Houston, Texas, to the Florida Keys. In mid-2014, we felt a profound stirring and, after much prayer and anticipation, decided to follow what we believed to be a divine direction. Our plans initially included other locations, but God’s guidance ultimately led us to embark on an unexpected adventure in the Keys.Apprehensions about practicalities, such as schooling, work, and the unknown environment, were quickly replaced by an overwhelming sense of peace and clarity. We faced numerous challenges, but God’s affirmations were undeniable, transforming our fears into joy and excitement. Embracing this significant life change required moving out of our comfort zones, yet it proved to be immensely rewarding and spiritually fulfilling. This experience has deepened our faith and understanding that God often calls us to take leaps beyond practicality. Through surrender and trust, we found peace, expanded our boundaries, and strengthened our faith. As we continue our journey with love and patience, we encourage others to seek God's guidance, embrace His plans with open hearts, and witness the incredible results of living a faithful life.
